this particular Eresia datis looks halfway between form fassli and form heliconiformis ;
seen at 1700 m above Rio Negro, near Mera and at 1000 m near Palora.
Eresia moesta is a retiring undergrowth denizen, and a highly variable species in Sangay NP.
