we've noted, here and in Southern Ecuador, that, in case of a big hatch of Dalla grovius, we find specimens which look like Dalla grovius, but with pale yellow markings, and not yellow orange, and the head, thorax and abdomen of which are a brilliant green.
this form affects, maybe, one butterfly in twenty or forty.
we could find no mention of these forms, and we don't know what their status could be ;
we put them on this page.
it should also be noted that, with their large HW markings, these pale forms look more like D. grovius grovius than like D. grovius amba.
