Perrhybris pamela flies from Mexico to South Brasil, with a great many subspecies (d’Abrera 1981). Perrhybris pamela glessaria is the Ecuadorian subspecies.
but this female, the only one we found (at río Kushish), is clearly between glessaria (the HW) and carmenta, the Peruvian ssp, (the FW).
it is not a mountain butterfly, hence it only reaches the Park from the East, rio Shankaime, rio Chiguaza, Taisha, Mendez.
