Anthanassa drusilla flies from Mexico to Peru ; in Ecuador we have two subspecies, A. drusilla drusilla to the North, and A. drusilla alceta to the South (d'Abrera 1987).
we do not know where is the limit between these two geographical races, but, near Puyo, at rio Paloraand rio Shankaime we saw A. dr. alceta.
