wingspan : male 45, female 50 mm
this species, Castilia perilla, flies from Ecuador to Bolivia (d’Abrera 1987) and has several forms, each form being quite variable.
we saw this form, looking like form acraeina, in the North, at rios Pastaza and Shankaime and near Macas and Sucúa.
