esta mariposa no viene del Parque
wingspan : 63/66 mm
up to 2012 we only saw one Hamadryas fornax in the Park, just a few kilometers West of Sucúa ; we did not catch it.
it is a butterfly which flies from Southern Venezuela down to Misiones Province (Argentina) ;
since that time we saw a few, but only near Sucúa ; it is not a common species in Sangay NP.
