all the butterflies known as Taygetis andromeda (Cramer 1779), are distributed between two species, Taygetis thamyra (Cramer 1779) and T. laches (Fabricius 1793) that can be differentiated only dorsally, which makes impossible identifying pictures of live butterflies..


and its wings underside is highly variable.


seen, whichever species, on the Eastern limits of the NP, at elevations of approximately 1000 m.
