this butterfly is obviously an Opsiphanes, it probably is O. cassiae, and could even be O. c. rubigatus ? Opsiphanes are highly variable butterflies, and it takes a specialist to identify them with some security.
seen near Puyo, at rio Pasatza, at rio Chiguazu and near Méndez.
