Ceratinia tutia is one of those species the taxonomy of which may look farfetched or fanciful :
            - not only 28 subspecies, of which 9 currently in the works,
            - but also three sympatric subspecies around Puyo : callichroma, radiosa and one like poecila.


on this page form callichroma, the most commonly seen in Sangay NP.
