Diaethria clymena, a common species, flies from Mexico down to Paraguay, and from sea level up to an elevation of 1500 meters (d’Abrera 1987).
we saw it East of the Park, including East of Rio Negro.
Diaethria clymena is highly variable a species, particularly on the UN, and aberrant specimens are not very scarce.
