wingspan : 23/25 mm
there are two possibilities (Robert Busby pers. com.) :
- either these butterflies are male and female of an undescribed Ostrinotes species, near Ostrinotes tympania,
- or the female is actually Ostrinotes tympania while the male would belong to the undescribed species,
collected South of Puyo, near Sucúa and particularly near Mendez and farther East.
