Necyria saundersi is a very common sight in many parts of the Park ; it comes readily to organic waste.
in Ecuador, East of the Andes, there is only one subspecies Necyria bellona saundersi, but males in this area are nearly as diverse as in Peru where four subspecies are said to fly.
