Melete are a difficult group ; they fly from Mexico and the Carribean down to Paraguay.

there is a certain number of species (between five and ten ? there is much uncertainty), all species look quite alike and are the same size, and each species seems to have local forms, individual forms, wet and dry season forms, all that on top of sexual dimorphism ; it makes it difficult to determine a specimen.

they usually fly below 1200 meters. they reach the Eastern limits of the Park.

Keith Willmott informs us that this one is Melete leucanthe.
