we first saw the two butterflies on the bottom pictures, and Ernst Brockmann and Bernard Hermier thought it could pretty well be Pyrrhopyge hadassa hadassa (Hewitson 1866).


in 2012 we collected a very few at el Retiro, and Esteban Suarez took pictures near Rio Negro.
