in his 1999 revision Jason Hall mentions two males and one female Theope eudocla collected South of Puyo near Canelos junction and at Sarayacu ;
we had never seen this species, but, eventually, after eleven years, we found it, hiding under a leaf, at río Tutamangosa ; but Karen Yukich took better pictures near Macas.
