we collected two Thracides panimeron East of the Park ; it is a rare species that, up to now, had never been reported from Ecuador (Ernst Brockmann).
in january 2012 we collected two more, and also had the opportunity to take pictures ; then we found more in november and the following year ; today Thracides panimeron is obviously rather common in Ecuador.
