Catasticta flisa flies from Mexico down to North Peru, subspecies C. fl. dilutior flying on the Eastern slopes of the Andes in Colombia and Ecuador (d’Abrera 1981).
in the National Park, we spotted a first one, above 2000 meters, near volcan Tungurahua, then others, at San Isidro, at a mere 1200 m, and even lower, 1000 m near Sucúa.
