Adelpha shuara is a recently described species that flies on the Eastern slopes of the Andes, usually at an elevation of 1000/1300 m, in Ecuador (KR Willmott 2003).
we saw it on the Sardinayacu path at 1100 m, near rio Palora and North of the Park.
