Doxocopa pavon is a common species from Mexico to Bolivia. Doxocopa pavon enjoys sunshine and dirt tracks ;
it usually flies no higher than 1500 meters, and in the Park we only found it at rio Shankaime and rio Pastaza.
the female, different looking, is quite rare.
