this Napeogenes duessa is N. d. orellana even though this subspecies is not known from Pastaza Province (Willmott & Vitale, 30 oct. 2008).
collected near Puyo, at about 1000 meters.
farther South, from Macas Southwards, flies a different ssp, N. duessa cunza.
