Adelpha corcyra is a rather variable species in pattern and in size.
it flies in Colombia and Ecuador (and in Northern Peru) ; subspecies A. c. aretina flies from Northern Ecuador down to the Gualaceo/Limon road (K.R. Wilmott, 2003), hence it is this subspecies which flies in the Park.
we saw it at 9 de Octubre and in the Paute river valley, then we also found it farther North, at Machay.
