wingspan : male 37/39, female 40 mm
we saw Caeruleuptychia lobelia at San Isidro, Pablo Sexto and Palora.
it would seem that C. lobelia and C. urania, and also C. mare, are only one species (S. Nakahara pers.com.) ; males from Sangay NP have only one eyespot beneath the HW, unlike those from further South and those from Amazonia.
this female, collected West of Huamboya, could be the female of this particular species, like the one collected at rio Bigal https://www.noreste.eu/en/fiche-papillon/019-Satyridae/003-Satyrinae/001-Euptychiini/003-Caeruleuptychia/065-urania/_
