Euptychia cesarense, found at Sardinayacu, Rio Negro and Guarumales, and identified by KRW.
we well see that the two males (see individual variation) are markedly different when both come from the very same spot in the rio Paute valley ; as a matter of fact, in Sangay NP Euptychia cesarense are neither clearly ssp obtusa (from the North), nor clearly ssp viloriai (from the South).
