Ceratinia neso, with many subspecies, flies from Venezuela to Argentina and to the Guyanas (d’Abrera 1984). Ceratinia neso espriella is Ecuador subspecies.
we saw this butterfly in the Eastern part of the Baños/Puyo corridor, slightly below 1000 meters, and near Macas and Sucúa.
