an Andean butterfly like all Lymanopoda, L. nivea, which lives only in Ecuador, flies from Northern Ecuador down to, at least, the Southern limits of Sangay NP.
at 3000 meters between Atillo and Zuñac we collected L. nivea sororcula, then at Runtun, 3000 m.
