we saw this Pareuptychia sp at Puyo, San Isidro and Méndez ; we saw it also in Napo and Sucumbios.
this butterfly looks very much like Pareuptychia summandosa the type of which comes from Paraguay.
but the taxonomy of the Genus Pareuptychia is unclear, different looking specimens flying together on the same spots.
