we found Catasticta semiramis willmotti at Quebrada Cugusha, 1700 m, and el Retiro, 1900 m.
willmotti is said to be the ssp flying in Northern Ecuador ? but...
quite a few times we collected Catasticta semiramis palla and C. s. willmotti in the same area between 9 de Octubre and Atillo,
but C. s. palla always at elevations of 3000 meters, and C. s. willmotti at only 1700/1900 m.
it should be pointed out that, in Southern Ecuador, willmotti has been collectes between 2000 and 2600 meters.
