Telemiades sp first seen at las Estancias, 1500 m, Bernard Hermier identified it as Telemiades amphion misitheus, but the revision of the Genus Telemiades published early 2020 renames it as Telemiades misitheus ;
also seen near Puyo, Palora, Macas, Sucúa, Mendez and at Sardinayacu.
