this Ithomiola was seen near Puyo, at rio Shankaime and near Puerto Morona.
if we rely on the pictures in Jason Hall paper (1995), and on those from butterfliesofamerica, it should be Ithomiola orpheus, which is said to fly below 1000 meters.
these three species Ithomiola orpheus, tanos and bajotanos are just undistinguishable, but fly at different elevations.
