D. crisia is a rather common species that flies from the North of Central America down to Bolivia and all over Amazonia ; it is a very variable species – it may prove difficult to find two absolutely identical specimens – and there would be many subspecies, although the limits between these subspecies, or forms ? are never obvious…..
these specimens could be D. cr. interrupta.
in the Park we only saw it near Rio Negro, Shell, Pablo Sexto, Macas and Sucúa.
