Neoxeniades scipio seen near Puyo, Macas and Sucúa, and identified by Bernard Hermier.
there would be two subspecies: N. s. luda that flies from Colombia to Central America, and N. s. posta that is known only from Peru.
this one is posta (Ernst Brockmann), it could be a first record for Ecuador ?
