Oleria baizana munaycha is the subspecies from the Baños/Puyo corridor, it is quite scarce a butterfly, collected years ago at Rio Verde.
but, in 2011, we found it near Guarumales, at the Southern limit of the Park ; probably the first record ever out of Tungurahua Province.
