Perisama alicia alicia is one of the commonest Perisamas, particularly in Ecuador (Attal & Crosson du Cormier 1996).
we saw it at 1500 m on the road to 9 de Octubre and at Quebrada Cugusha, and also at Machay, el Topo and Colonia Azuaya, and, in 2008, in the rio Paute valley.
