Cunizza hirlanda (formerly included in the Hesperocharis Genus) flies from Venezuela South to Bolivia and East to the Guyanas (d’Abrera 1981).
in Ecuador we have Cunizza hirlanda apicalis. in the Sangay we saw it near Puyo and at rio Chiguaza.
