we found this butterfly in 2016 at rio Tutamangosa, and Karen Yukich pictured it near Macas by ;
it is Pheles heliconides, but it is neither Ph. h. heliconides, nor Ph. h. flavotincta, the only two ssp figured on butterfliesofamerica.
