up to 2007 we only saw one Corades dymantis in the Park, at 2900 m on the Atillo/Macas road ;


it nevertheless is a rather common butterfly, particularly in the South of Ecuador.


in 2008 we saw it near Zholay, Cañar, 2900 m, and in 2012 many were flying at 3000 m on the road to Atillo.

it seems that the UP variations are not correlated to those of the UN
