wingspan : male 40/46, female 40/49 mm
Greta andromica is a common species which flies from Central America to Bolivia, with two subspecies in Ecuador : Gr. a. andromica West of the Andes, and Gr. a. andania in the East.
in Sangay NP we saw it in the Baños/Puyo corridor, at Sardinayacu and near 9 de Octubre.
