Hypothyris euclea pyrippe lives in North East Peru and South East Ecuador (d’Abrera 1984) ; but it also flies in the center of Ecuador, near Puyo and near Sucúa, 1000m.
another case of sympatric "subspecies", H. e. pyrippe and H. e. intermedia flying together near Puyo.
the butterflies on the bottom pictures, probably are H. euclea pyrippe.
