we found Pseudodebis marpessa (formerly Taygetis marpessa) in the forest by rio Pastaza, at 900 m and near Palora ; later we saw it near Sucúa and Méndez,
but it is difficult to tell the various species from this group : marpessa, valentina, vrazi and zimri.
