Pedaliodes peucestas peucestas flies in Colombia and Ecuador (d’Abrera 1988) ; seen on the road to Vizcaya, 2200 msnm and also at Runtun.
on the bottom pictures of the pair one can see, with a little effort, the antennae of the female placed between the male forewings.
