Oxeoschistus leucospilos flies in the Andes, from Colombia to Peru (d’Abrera 1988) ; we always saw it at elevations around 1500/2000 meters.
in the Sangay we saw it between Zuñac and 9 de Octubre, and near Rio Negro and in the rio Paute valley.
