these Phocides pigmalion, collected near rio Palora and at Pablo Sexto, San Isidro and Sucúa, are between Ph. pigmalion hewitsonius from Amazonia and Ph. p. pigmalion from Central America and the Western slopes of the Andes.
and more particularly the male figured above is clearly hewitsonius, when the female is obviously pigmalion.
