like all Corades, Corades enyo is a mountain butterfly ; it flies from Colombia to Bolivia (d’Abrera 1988).
in Ecuador Oriente - and in Sangay NP - flies a subspecies not yet described, but collected by Tomasz Pyrcz.
it is a very common sight in the 1400/2200 meters range, however, in the Park, we only saw it near 9 de Octubre and near Guarumales, and at Machay.
